Who paid what, and who owes whom to square it up — worked out as the shortest possible set of payments, then checked against a proof that no shorter set exists. Fill in the sheet for one bill, or keep a ledger of several.
Fill in a name to start the sheet.
The payments above are worked out here as you type. The block is the same sheet in
the format the command line tool reads, so pasting it into a chat, or into
splits --form -, gets the same answer from the verified binary.
Everything you type stays in this browser — there is no server, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. “Copy link” puts the whole ledger in the address itself, so sending somebody the link sends them the ledger; they can edit their copy and send one back. That is how to share it when this page is hosted as an ordinary web page. “Save for everyone” instead publishes the ledger back to this link so the group sees one shared copy — it needs the page open in the artifact viewer, with edit access. “Copy as form” always works: it copies the ledger in the format the command line tool reads, which is also a fine way to paste it to somebody.
